Rendering is a necessary step in creating quality animation, product design and motion graphics This is a rendering step-by-step tutorial for Cinema 4D.
Steps to Render in Cinema 4D
Set Up the Scene: Prepare your 3D scene with models, textures and lighting (the sky). Make sure your camera is where it needs to be to capture the shot you have in mind.
Adjust Render Settings: Open your Render Settings window, and input Resolution and frame range
Save: Pick the format and location you would like to save your renders at For static images, JPEG or PNG formats are also commonplace. Use image sequences (or an ordered set of PNGs) for animations so we can apply post-processing to them more easily.
Anti aliasing: Higher value will smooth edges more
Choose the Render Engine: In Cinema 4D you have a few render engines — the built-in Physical Renderer as well as third-party options such as Redshift and OctaneRender. Utilize the render engine that is best applicable to your project.
Render the Scene: Finally, click Render > Render to Picture Viewer and we will begin the rendering process. Once you hit the render button, Cinema 4D will go to work rendering the scene and saving out the result based on your preferences.
Post-Processing (Optional): After rendering, post-process the final image or animation using tools like After Effects or Photoshop to apply color correction, depth of field effect and more.
