How Can You Set Blender To Render Only The Camera View

We want to only render from the camera view because it will allow you to control your composition and what parts of the scene you want highlighted in black. This is how to make sure that Blender renders only what the camera sees.

How to Only Render to the View of a Camera

Set Up the Camera: Go to the camera view by pressing Numpad 0 in the Viewport. This will preview the camera view in scene.

Move your camera- Move the camera to compose your scene, as required. Use the Move (G) and Rotate (R) tools to manipulate where the camera is, and how its facing.

Enable Camera View Rendering: Click on the Dimensions tab in your Render Properties. The aspect and resolution should be whatever your camera is seeing.

If you have multiple cameras in your scene, Blender will render from the active camera by default. Select your camera and hit Ctrl + 0 to be sure you have the right one active.

Render the Scene: With the camera view established, hit F12 to render. Blender is only going to render the part of your scene that can be seen in your camera so the objects outside the view of the camera will not be visible.

This technique makes sure that your renders will be framed in the exact way you want, enabling precision over the composition.
