To render an animation in Cinema 4D requires that you set everything up correctly so your getting each frame rendered correctly into the proper file. In this tutorial you will learn how to render out an animation in Cinema 4D.
How To Render Animation in Cinema 4D
Set Up the Scene: Finish your animation before you render. Modify the lighting, change your materials, re-orient the camera.
Go to Render Settings: In the Render Settings window – Output Tab Define the frame range for the animation (check: 0-240 frames, for a 10 seconds animation at 24fps).
Choose Output Format: Just a click on Save will detail the output format. If rendering animation, do so as a sequence of images (e.g. PNG, EXR) in case the render fails and you need to start again. You can later convert the image sequence to a video (MP4).
Set Render Engine: Choose render engine, for instance Physical Renderer or Redshift. Toggles render quality and settings based on your scene complexity.
Start Rendering: But now we are ready to render the animation as a sequence: From Render > Render to Picture Viewer Based on your preference, Cinema 4D is going to render every frame as an image file or a sequence.
Once the image sequence is rendered, you can assemble and export this sequence as a video through some biter external software such as Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve.
