Render Farm Price

Prices

The cost of using a can render farm can vary considerably depending on several factors. These may include the complexity of the project, the resolution of your renders, and how long it takes to render them.

Factors Affecting Render Farm Pricing

Render Time

Time spent renders earns money for render farms. Generally clients are charged according to how long it takes a project to complete. And the more complexity a project has or higher its resolution, the longer it was take–though in turn this means costs escalate.

Resolution and Frame Rate

For instance, 4K projects require more computing power and will cost a render farm more than higher resolution projects. Similarly, animations with frame rates higher than the normal standard of 24 fps are also expensive to produce; for one thing there are 60 frames per second in 60fps vs only 30 at 30fps or 25/30 for 25fps.

Render Engine

Our render farms may provide different prices depending on the rendering engine used. For example, GPU-based engines like Redshift will have a different price from CPU-based engines such as Arnold because of licensing cost differences.

Average Render Farm Pricing

Hourly rates: Many cloud-based render farms charge between $1-$5 per hour depending on what sort of hardware is being used. Our farm charges significantly less than this. Please see our article: How We Estimate Render Cost
